WOODRUFF: Speechs lags behind in intro

Reported by: raziel- Owned by: DrMcCoy

Description

ScummVM 0.12.0svn (May 23 2008 05:05:15) Features compiled in: Vorbis FLAC MP3 zLib MPEG2

OK, not sure if this is in the original also, as i've never had the chance to play it.

The speech is lagging behind while the intro runs for a second or so. e.g. when the "human" speaks" and kills the teddy, his mouth move long before the speech actually kicks in.

Also, i'm not sure if the city name is ought to be "garbled" by the narrator and later when it comes to the teddy scene (Speech seems to break up, like if the narrator is being silenced!?) Again, i don't know if this ^^^ part is ought to be happening and part of the storyline. Please enlight me.

The lagging might be a problem of a too slow system, though?

The garbled up city name and verbs are normal, since that are supposed to be Boozookian names.

The short static sound and the following sync problems are a bug in the video decoder, though.

I don't know if it helps in tracking it down, but the static appears to be in the sound chunk for frame 376. At least in my English version of the game.

This should be fixed in the SVN repo.
