KYRA1: Load menu triggers assertion

Reported by: SF/egilbert Owned by: vinterstum
Priority: normal Component: Engine: Kyra
Version: Keywords:
Cc: Game: Kyrandia 1

Description

This has been observed while playing The legend of Kyrandia (French version) in ScummVM 9.1 (Mac OS X - Universal) running on an Intel Mac (OS X 10.4.8) and can be reproduced systematically.

When opening a open (or save) menu and clicking the "down" arrow twice, the following assertion is triggered: engines/kyra/screen.cpp:563: failed assertion `x1 > 0 && y1 > 0'

Looks like the couterpart of bug 1480746.

Floppy or CD version?

comment:4 by vinterstum, 17 years ago

I'm having trouble reproducing this. Please post the exact version you've got, preferrably with version number :). Also, do you get the crash no matter how many savegames you have in the list? Any "skipped" slots, etc?

Oh, and please try this with the newest SVN snapshot (linked from the downloads page), as I just made some changes to this part of the code.
