By crash, do you mean it prints an error message like "Could not find 'filename.res'" and then stops, or is it worse than that?

As the README points out, CD changing is not well tested, and might not work at all. There are files which the game engine expects to be able to find at all times, but which - as far as I remember - are only found on the first CD.

It might be possible to just copy these files to hard disk and then use the "extra path" setting to keep them visible to ScummVM at all times, but I haven't tried this myself, so I don't know if it works.

At the very least, the files it needs at all times are scripts.clu, general.clu, players.clu and text.clu, but probably also resource.inf, resource.tab, cd.inf, startup.inf, credits.bmp and credits.clu.

The easiest way is to simply copy all the necessary files from both CDs to one directory on the hard disk. Again, the README describes this.

To process your bug report appropriately, we need you to provide the following additional information:

* ScummVM version (PLEASE test the latest CVS/Daily build) * Bug details, including instructions on reproducing it * Language of game (English, German, ...) * Version of game (talkie, floppy, ...) * Platform and Compiler (Win32, Linux, MacOS, ...) * Attach a save game if possible * If this bug only occurred recently, please note the last version without the bug, and the first version including the bug. That way we can fix it quicker by looking at the changes made.

This should only take you a little time but will make it much easier for us to process your bug report in a way that satisfies both you and us.

Thank you for your support!
