Ticket Resolution Summary Owner Reporter
#1025 fixed 0.5.0 RC: LOOM: Crash with shepherds fingolfin SF/kpharris
Description

The game is completable with 0.5.0pre-cvs (2003-07- xx), which was downloaded from this mornings compiled snapshot (win32), but does have some bugs.

When talking to the shepherds, trying to use different drafts on them has caused crashes for me. Attached is a savegame just before you reach them (they are to the left). As I seem to remember the drafts being different for each play, here's a few: ECED-open CEEG- camouflage, DDCD-Dye. After trying a few variants of random drafts, the GEEC thread crashes ScummVM with this error message: ERROR: (23: 232: 0x623D): Invalid actor 0 in actortalk

Sorry, but I haven't tested it with 0.4.1. I also have no other versions of loom to test it.

I was testing it to complete a report (as it said it needed testing this morning), but someone else finished first.

#982 fixed 0.5.0 RC: MM(V2) Inventory doesn't work under certain circum SF/ender SF/wishbone
Description

Sometimes, when switching kids, the inventory doesn't work. It looks empty, but with an arrow pointing upwards, as if there's something higher up. The arrow doesn't do anything, though. One way I've found of fixing it, is to switch to another kid, move his inventory all the way to the top, and switch back again.

Additional: After experimenting with this, I think I can conclude that this only happens when the person you're switching from (or the last person to have a working inventory) has his inventory at a lower position than exists in the inventory of the person you're switching to. To paraphrase: if Syd's inventory is at items 7-10, and you switch to Bernard who has only 2 items at this time, this bug occurs. The solution: Switch back to Syd, move his inventory to the top, and switch back again.

Note to developer: I think the cause of this must be that the position of the inventory is stored in a single variable, rather than in a separate one for each character.

When trying to fix the transport robot himself by using the wrench, he says "No NUTS! This wrench is USELESS!" but no voice is heard. Load the attached savegame and use the wrench on the transport robot.
