#14027 | fixed | SCUMM: Problems with subtitles in DIG
Description |
System: Windows 10 x64 ScummVM: Newest 2.7.0git Version: German CD For some reason the subtitle controls in at least the German version of The Dig are kind of unreliable. For some reason the game, if the global override is on, always jumps back to having speech and subtitles. Even more bizarre, when deactivating the override (I have global on speech only), then subtitles are still shown in the intro, but not the game itself. My suspicion is that it stems from an orginal interpreter goof, in that the text in the intro telling the player about the Berneo observatory for some reason got linked to the subtitles, even though in the English version it was independent of it and even appeared in speech only (and didn't appear at all in the German version under DOS if text was off). This seems to confuse ScummVM, so maybe the location description can be altered to work like in the English version. Btw., the alignment of the location description also is off. It should be centered. |

#14029 | fixed | SCUMM: Lip-sync problems at first bike fight in FT
Description |
System: Windows 10 x64 ScummVM: Newest 2.7.0git Version: German CD At least in the German version of FT, the lip-sync in the first bike fight (no idea if it also goes for the other fights) is way off. While in the original interpreter the sync is perfect, in ScummVM the lips continue to move even after the character's voice is already done. Btw., there also is a wrong sound during the battle. The Roadwheeler is supposed to make the "Ow" sound when being hit with the fist, but instead makes the "Oof" sound. |

#14037 | fixed | SCUMM: Low latency problem with DIG
Description |
System: Windows 10 x64 ScummVM: Newest 2.7.0git Game: German CD This seems to be connected to fixing the problems with low latency audio in FT. While that problem got fixed, now DIG crashes when low latency is enabled. The crash always happens at the very start (the game does initialize). The first few frames of the cloud lighting up are seen, then the game crashes. The crash always happens at the same spot, the protocoll is added as a text file to show, where exactly. |
