Ticket Owner Reporter Resolution Summary
#3222 sev- eriktorbjorn fixed GUI: Classic themes need to be updated
Description

Latest ScummVM SVN snapshot

(sev told me to put all of these in the same bug report)

If I select the "Classic (ScummVM 0.8.0)" theme, ScummVM warns me that "Theme config uses a different version (you have: '19', needed is: '21')

If I use the --gui-theme=classic command-line option, ScummVM warns that "Config 'classic' is NOT usable for themes or not found!"

Also, I could have sworn that if I selected the "Classic (Builtin)" theme, the Options dialog didn't have a "Misc" tab any more, but I can't reproduce it now. Sunday morning blindness, perhaps?

#3250 DrMcCoy Kirben fixed All: Module player unstable, with Protracker
Description

ScummVM 0.11.0svn (Jun 15 2007 14:20:12) Compiled under mingw with GCC 3.4.5 Running on Windows XP Media Center 2005 Edition English Amiga of Nippon Safes (Multi-Language). English Amiga CD32 of Simon the Sorcerer 1.

The current module player in ScummVM doesn't seem stable,
as I often get random crashes in Amiga versions of games, especially when switching music. The Amiga versions of these games, specifically use Protracker modules.

I thought the issue might be specific to the AOGS engine, when using Amiga versions. But I produced similar crash in Parallaction engine, when trying out the Amiga version of Nippon Safes.

GDB always reports similar heap corruption: Program received signal SIGTRAP, Trace/breakpoint trap. 0x7c901231 in ntdll!DbgUiConnectToDbg () from ntdll.dll (gdb) warning: HEAP[scummvm.exe]: warning: Heap block at 031894C8 modified at 03189B6A past requested size of 698

But doesn't give a useful backtrace, due to the heap corruption.

When I tried the games under ScummVM in Topologilinux, I'm unable to reproduce the crashes and Valgrind doesn't report any issues. I don't have sound support under Topologilinux though, so that could be why.

#3298 anotherguest SF/noelemahc fixed SYMBIAN UIQ3: All AGOS hang on startup
Description

Using the latest stable 0.10.0 release of the Symbian UIQ3 version of ScummVM on a SonyEricsson W950i.

Tested with Simon the Sorcerer 1 floppy and CD versions, as well as floppy versions of Waxworks, Elvira 1 and Elvira 2; US releases all.

The problem is the same - upon launching any of the games from the menu, the screen goes black (which is normal behaviour), but it doesn't change out of it regardless of how long I wait (the longest managed so far was 10 minutes, though I'm willing to wait more). It apparently loads up the phone's memory or whatever as switching out to Task Manager and killing the process takes up quite a while too. I know it to be normal as any SCUMM talkie games and Nippon Safes also spend a while with an empty black screen as they apparently parse/process/otherwise load the game resources, but they DO come out of it in less than a minute of waiting.

I assume this might've been expected with the newly-added HorrorSoft titles, but the fact that it also affects Simon is what made me worry.
