Also there is Old-Games.Ru ScummVM mod that currently perfectly support this checksums, you can just add fix from their source patch. https://github.com/old-games/ScummVM-russian-translations-fork http://www.old-games.ru/utils/files/ScummVM_v1.7.0_OG_Edition(+Pix_Hacks).rar Also it's manifests Pix hacks for extended custom file soundtrack support for many games (for Kyra and many other games that had only midi files)

We already have added support for 2015 version, and the support was taken precisely from the OG patches.

As of the Pix hacks, they are very questionnable, as they require those audio track dumps, which could not be distributed legally anyway. Thus, there is no point for us to add that feature, as that will show that we're supporting piracy, while we do not.

Thank you very much, then!

About Pix hacks, yes, his conversions (through some crappy Roland C55 bank) can be downloaded from his site. Still it's better to support them, then not... But mostly it's a potential for supporting fan made covers of original soundtracks or enchanced midi conversions through very extened banks (i prefer such way). Can this be called "piracy", when someone converts (or rearranges) original midi files with his custom personal soundfont and adds this "arrangement" into game? (Especially when game is abandonware) For example, here is made a conversion of all ingame music through my custom soundfont for Pix hacked version. Now sound Much better then original http://m.vk.com/doc-62542735_437400451 BTW long time ago (2009-2012) You did supported custom soundtracks for some games, when James Woodcock made his "enchanced" conversions - Beneath a Steel Sky, Touche, Simon the Sourcerer. And this games had no Redbook CD soundtracks - only midi in original. How this can be explained and Why not making the same way for other games that can be enchanced?

Well, if you have a soundfont, you can simple use it with ScummVM.

The games are not abandonware. They are still sold by EA on GoG for example. I think Pix back then tried to contact EA and they didn't seem supportive, thus we decided not do support this.

There were permissions from the original authors for these.
