Description
1.8.0git2916-g2b1bc8d There is no bamboo stick laying on the floor in the palms+bamboo screen after the monkey steals your binoculars so I can't proceed further in the game. Not sure it's a bug, but all walkthroughs say the stick should be there. I also have it when I play the gog version on extreme difficulty (same difficulty I selected in scummvm).

Using the daily build 1.8.0git2916-g2b1bc8d (Saturday 4 April 2015 05:08:16).
Started a new game on extreme difficulty yesterday with that build and played to the point when you are supposed to use the stick (save in the attachment above).

Well, fixed the problem. I overlooked that that savegame was from the Easy difficulty, and there was a bug with the blowgun not being placed correctly in easy mode, which I've now fixed. You can now correctly find the blowgun in the witch doctor's hut.

Hmmm.. are you using an older daily build. Or was your game started on an earlier build. Because there was a bug fixed several weeks back where, when starting a new game on the hard difficulty, the bamboo stalk wouldn't show up. It was fixed, but only for starting new games. If you already had a game in progress, it'd stay broken. For your current game, a workaround is to open the debugger with Control-D, and type in "item 8" to give you the plant stalk.
