ScummVM 1.7.0git5225-g4c039ff (Feb 1 2014 07:16:40)
I have got the Polish version of Hopkins FBI. ScummVM doesn't detect it. A disk has a data folder which is named "Hopkins4". I've made MD5 entries for all files in Hopkins4 folder. You can find them in the attachment. Each file md5.txt in directories and subdirectories contains entries of files that are located in current directory. To compute MD5, I used this command:
md5deep -p 5000 * | find /i "offset 0-"
I hope I made this md5 properly.

Hi. Thanks for your answer. I dont think you will be able to buy polish version of the game anywhere. I've got it on an old scratched cd from the late 90s. I could upload it somewhere for you if that's the case. If you could give me a full command to program md5deep (to save all data with files sizes) I would upload proper md5.txt Size of RES_VAN.RES - 39400865 bytes

I just found polish version of the game on one of the auction website: http://allegro.pl/listing/listing.php?order=m&string=hopkins&search_scope=category-45720&bmatch=s0-2 but I'm not sure that anyone will dispatch elsewhere than Poland.

Fixed in 2817e380079b43be67aad3176369a59963dc6ad4
The game should now be properly detected and should be running properly. I checked the Polish-specific code I added for the demo, and based on the file list you sent me it should be fine just like that. I only have a doubt concerning the adult disclaimer at the beginning of the game. It's currently removed, just like in the demo, I'll try to analyze if it should be displayed in the full version (I may need your assistance for that)

Could you check, just in case, if PIC.CAT contains the string ADULT.PCX ?

File PIC.CAT doesn't contains the string ADULT.PCX. I have download the latest development build modified today at 07:13 but this version still doesn't detect the game.

OK, so the disclaimer screen isn't included in this version, good.
Also, it's not a surprise it's not detected in the version you downloaded, you'll have to wait until tomorrow in order to get the fix included in a nightly build

Could you please tell me the content of the BLOOD.DAT file, too. It defines the default gore level of the game...

OK, so censorship is enabled by default. I've added an option in the launcher in the 'engine' tab so you can remove the censorship and enable the Gore Mode. Don't hesitate to use it for even more blood and nasty sounds :)

Hi. Sorry for late answer, I had few busy days in the work. New version of ScummVM does detect game properly now. Game works perfectly! Much thanks for fixing this problem.

You're indeed the very first people reporting the full Polish version. So far we were only able to find the Polish demo, which contained some interesting specific engine modifications. Hopefully, those modifications will be sufficient to have the game fully supported in Polish too. If you have an idea of how to buy this version, I'm interested as it's the only one I wasn't able to find so far.
Concerning the information you provided, it's sadly not complete. I also need the size of the files, and more particularly the size of Hopkins4\VOICE\RES_VAN.RES
Could you please specify the exact size of this file?
