Description

ScummVM version: 1.5.0 OS: Windows XP Game: King’s Quest VI 1.000 CD Dos italian

At the beach of the Island of the Sacred Mountain, a bug occurs pushing the letters in the wall to compose the word that allows to go forward. The word in the Italian version is “levarsi”. The position of the letters is changed when they are pushed and the puzzle can’t be solved, as well, intuitively, the next ones of the same type. The italian version of King's Quest VI can't be completed. I have attached the related save game and the MD5 sum.

Italian? Is that a fan made translation? Cause there wasn't ever an official Italian version of the game.

If this is a fan made patch, where can we find this patch?

It's not a fan made translation, it's the italian floppy disk version (no CD talkie) ditributed on CD support. In the past years, official italian versions of King's Quest V, VI, VII and VIII have been distributed in Italy by the company "Leader", as well as some other italian version of the old Sierra games. If you need the game/s to fix the bug, i can send it/them by email.

Have you changed the game's platform to Windows, by any chance? In any case, the detection entry will need to be added

yes i tried to change both platforms. please tell me how can i add the detection entry

Added the Italian version of KQ6 to the detection tables (commit df751fc). It has been added in the next daily version of ScummVM, which you can obtain here: http://buildbot.scummvm.org/builds.html

Please remove and readd your game entry in ScummVM's launcher, and try playing this scene again
