Description
Win32 0.3.1cvs (2002-12-04) English Full Talkie version
From the provided save, talk to maggie and ask her about the apparition.
The subtitle says, "What WAS that apparition?" but the actual voice that plays says, "Do you think it was trying to get one of us hurt?".
Maggie replies, "I don't know, but apparition seems like a good word for it."
Obviously, Maggie's response only makes sense if Boston says the former.

OK, after playing a little while longer I just heard where the proper place for that dialog is.
After Brink dies, you talk to Maggie through the communicator and ask her, "Do you think it was trying to get one of us hurt?"
It makes sense there since it's referring to Brink's death but, once again, makes no sense in the earlier bit of dialog from my original bug report.

Played a little further... After you unlock your first door in the nexus if you call up Maggie you can click one of the dialog options to tell her about it. Boston says something like, geometric shapes are used as the passcode to the doors. She says nothing in response (no subtitle either).
Now, I can't remember what happened there in the original game but that doesn't seem right. Maybe SCUMMVM causes a few bits bugged audio throughout the game?

I also see the Brink saying "What WAS that apparition" but hear him say "Do you think it was trying to get one of us hurt".
However, in my version Maggie replies: "Beats me, but did you notice that it seemed to have dropped something?", which fits...
so maybe this is just a bug in the subtitles?
