SCI: crash in iphone during the Sierra logo screen

Description

iphone 3GS 3.1.2 Running latest ScummVM trunk

Any Sierra SCI game crashes during the intro screen with the sierra mountain. Usually, after 3 seconds of music, the sound freezes (together with the screen) and iphone reboots subsequently. This behaviour does not occur on the PC version. This happens on any SCI game that I've tried (Space Quest 1 Sarien Encounter VGA,, Space Quest V, VI ....etc) I know SCI is not supporeted yet as not officially released but I thought it's worth pointing this iphone-specific crash.

Understood, and thanks for the update. I am sorry to hear that this weird crash (still) occurs.

However, please note that the SCI engine is still under development and not yet officially supported; as such, serious issues with it are to be expected. We will deal with them as time passe, in our own accord. I hope vinterstum will have time at some point to look into this, but for the time being, this is a low priority item for us.

Question: Which MIDI / Music driver do you have selected? (Does the iPhone allow any besides the adlib driver, I wonder?).

I'm using the Default Music Driver, Default AdLib Emulator and Default Output Rate. Looks like I can actually select some other drivers from the dropdown, but I know some of them wont work on iphone (PC Speaker, MT-32 emulation...etc).

I am not aware of any changes specific to this, but I wonder if this issue still occurs ? Both with the 1.1.1 official release binary, and also with a binary built by yourself from SVN... (those might yield different results, after all).
