Description

Using the latest stable 0.10.0 release of the Symbian UIQ3 version of ScummVM on a SonyEricsson W950i.

Tested on DoTT Talkie Version.

The scenes which feature forced scrolling (the most prominent being the dramatic non-interactives in the Present Lab (working the Chron-o-John and composing the battery plans), Past Inn (washing the carriage), Future Human Show (the judges moving about)) all have the same graphical glitch.
The screen does not scroll. Instead, in a narrow band of pixels near the edge from which the scrolling should have occured*, the pixels of the scrolling image can be seen flying past, until the scrolling stops and the whole screen is suddenly updated into the state of the other end of the location.
[* - so, if Laverne tells the judges to go judge, the left edge of the screen will fakely scroll, and then the whole picture will jump to the other end suddenly when the scrolling ends]

While not show-stopping and appearing quite rarely, this bug does detract from the experience somewhat. If necessary, a video capture of the bug can be provided.

As of the latest publicly available precompiled unstable build (dated November 24th), this issue still persists. It has also been tested and confirmed (on the same phone) in Monkey Island 2 (easiest-to-test scene - the cliffside on Booty Island).

This might be related to scrolling the screen in a certain screenmode (stretched, portrait, landscape etc). And thus I do wonder what the settings was when seeing this bug?

The default, whatever it is for UIQ3 - I have not yet discovered how to do all the other types back when I submitted this (and, agree, stable 0.10.0 was the latest stable quite a while ago).

That would make it unstretched landscape, I suppose (leaving the blue bar of emptyness under the main 320x200 pixels of the game).
