Description

Not sure if this is a bug, or if I'm just exceeding the
capabilities of my PDA.

PDA specs:
Dell Axim X50 520 Mhz, 64 MB SDRAM
6 GB Hitachi Microdrive

The problems I'm experiencing are as follows:
- Speech jumps occasionally
- Speech occasionally out of sync with animation
- Animation cut short
- Experienced 2 crashes, one required Hard reset to fix

No files are compressed, and I'm using all the
animation & sound files.

You give precious little detail, so we can't do anything about this. Please at
least describe in detail how to reproduce each of the problems you list.
Also, it would be preferable if you posted one report for each separate
issue (as we request on the bug submission page, by the way :-).

Sorry for the lack of detail, as well as failing to follow
normal proceedure. As for the problems, most of them are
there from the start (except for the crashing bit).

When I stated that the speech jumped occasionally, I meant
just that. For example, after Guybrush is thrown in with
Wally at the start of the game, bits of his dialogue is
missing altogether. Its also happened to me at the Barbery
Coast shop, talking with ? (I think it might have been
Haggis, but it could have been somebody else).

Animation & speech are also out of sync. An example, is
when LeChuck drops the voodoo cannonball. The time when
LeChuck goes 'wah-ahh' and when he drops the ball in the
animation are way off.

The game also tends to crash after short periods of time.
Maybe 20 minutes? (I may have shut off the Axim prematurely
on one of the crashes, which prompted the forced hard reset).

Again, this might not be a bug, MI3, with the use of sound &
animation might just exceed the capabilities of my Axim.
Either that, or ScummVM is not using the capabilities of my
Axim effectively enough.

Well, the crash after X minutes is an old bug that is
probably fixed by the changes done in IMuse in 0.8.0.
Unfortunately I cannot upload a new test build for the
moment since my ISP (http://www.neuf.fr) has been unable to
restore my connection for 16 days.

And 640x480 games are pretty slow. The devices are basically
very slow in VGA mode, and the CE code itself is not well
optimized.

Note that COMI is using a lot of memory as well, and you
should be sure to close all other applications before
running it.
