Game save before crash

Pretty hard to do anything about this w/o owning the French version of FOA, I am afraid...

I could post the french version as an attached file, but, erm? Any other way to help?

Nah, do not attach the french version, that would be illegal. I just wanted to express that I can't precisely reprouce this (and can't use your savegame) w/o the french version.

You might run ScummVM with the -d9 option to enable a lot of debug output. Then, when ScummVM crashes, you can tell use the last couple dozen lines of output or so.

Hm. Does it also crash if you use ScummVM 0.6.1b ?

Ha! I hadn't tried the newer version since the original post in June.

And... THe bug is now gone in 0.6.1b. Magic!

Let me get a chance to thank again the whole Scummvm team. Such good work! It's all I need to be happy.

Good to hear that :-)

A follow-up: now instead of the crash there is only the warning message

WARNING: New name of object 647 too long: old 'le mur' (9), new 'la porte' (7))!

Just in case it might be useful for anything.

Note: See TracTickets for help on using tickets.
