Description
ScummVM 0.5.7cvs (Jan 4 2004 05:14:20)
Spanish (2CD) version of the game, with background music and voices. Linux 2.6.0, gcc (GCC) 3.3.2 (Debian).
I started the game normally, killed the spider, untied myself, and saved the game. Now, when I load the savegame back and then go to the preferences screen the game crashes. Note that this doesn't occur if audio is disabled (either by -e null or by leaving /dev/dsp by another app. ;).
The preferences screen seems to work just fine if I don't use a savegame. I haven't attempted to reproduce this later on the game, as I just bought it and haven't played, yet :)

I can't reproduce this under Windows with the English version. I'll try it under Linux later.
In the meantime, could you run it in GDB to get a backtrace of the crash? It might help.
