DIG: Cannot return to Tomb Spire

Description
German version of The DIG, played on iPhone but probably all SCUMMVM versions are concerned.
After activating the tomb spire tram with the blue rod in the command center, the tram can be called by pressing the button on the wall. However, if you leave the tomb spire without activating the light bridge, you cannot (!) return to the tomb spire again, because pressing the tram-button won't work anymore. Thus, this bug renders the game unplpayable.
Re-activating the crystals in the command center won't help.

Can't replicate this with latest Git build i.e. 2011-04-30 96965b4896a15aca8a26f2b517b8a634738aa0de and The Dig/English (DOS)
Repeating mthreepwood's statement: Are you sure the tram is not already in the Nexus Tomb Spire Tram Station? It appears on the very far left so not easy to see.. look for a small wedge shape path joining the station platform.
If not, please can you attach a savegame showing this so we can look at the cause of the incorrect game state.

How did you leave the Tomb Spire? From what I can tell, you took the tram back from the tomb spire if you didn't use the light bridge to go to a different spire. Are you sure the tram isn't already waiting for you in the nexus?
