#14265 fixed SCUMM/HE: PJGAMES: Add audio modding support for Pajama Sam: Games to Play on Any Day AndywinXp SomeRandomHEFan
Description

Over the past months, I've worked on updating the Bandcamp releases of various Humongous Entertainment soundtracks to support playing them in their corresponding games via ScummVM's audio modding feature.

I'd like to update Pajama Sam 3's soundtrack again so that it can also be played in Pajama Sam: Games to Play on Any Day. Most of that game's music is from the same soundtrack. However, this is currently not possible, as ScummVM lacks audio modding support for it. The game was made after Humongous Entertainment made the jump to 22050 Hz, so it probably handles audio rather differently.

It would be nice if the scope of ScummVM's audio modding feature could be expanded to cover this game.

#14269 fixed [SCUMM] Ultimate Talkie for SoMI does not need warning for no CD music AndywinXp antoniou79
Description

This is on ScummVM 2.8git current build from master HEAD, on Windows 10 x64.

The SE Talkie v1.02 is detected properly from ScummVM but, since this version comes from the CD version that is embedded in the Special Edition release, and if the user does not set an Extra Path pointing to the CD or SE extracted music from the Special Edition, upon launch it gets the popup:

"This game has audio tracks on its CD. These tracks need to be ripped from the CD using an appropriate CD audio extracting tool in order to listen to the game's music. See the documentation (CD audio) for details".

However, during the "building" of the SE Talkie version the installer patches the resource files and adds in the MIDI music of the floppy release.

This means that the game will have music playing regardless of extracted CD audio tracks. The warning is not applicable on this situation.

My suggestion would be to add an exception for this edition of the game, to avoid confusion for the end user.
