Description
ScummVM 1.10.0git-3735-g065dd96 64bit
Game: Myst ME (10th-Anniversary), English, Windows
OS: Windows 7, 64bit
When you are changing the angles that the locator device points at to locate the 5 sounds, the sounds the game makes when pointing to the correct angles are garbled version of the correct sound effects. It sounds like it is playing an undersampled or clipped version of the correct sounds.
Weirdly, If you have step away from the device it will play the correct sound that you are pointing to flawlessly.
This will make this hard puzzle nearly impossible for a new player.
For the first video you will see me lock onto the water source and it is garbled, but it sounds fine if I step away: https://streamable.com/xpdii
and once I've locked onto all of them and I play the sum/sigma the final result is fine: https://streamable.com/tqc8h

Thanks for the bug report. This is now fixed as commit 33cfcfd5ff62.
If you go to sound locator device and everything sounds good, then change one of the angles by 0.1 in one direction and it will have the bugged sound
