SCUMM: Backyard Baseball 2001 crashing

Description
Backyard baseball 2001 for windows using ScummVM. continues to crash at the same point. season play, game 4 of the season, as soon as the final scoreboard displays, i get the "ScummVm has stopped responding" window and i have to reboot ScummVm. when i reload my save puts me after game 3. i double checked that i am using the correct backyard baseball file, and double checked the compatibiliy list that says BB 2001 is "good." same issue has occured three times now so im convinced its a corrupted game file at this point.
