#9603 closed defect (fixed)

RINGWORLD2: Intro only draws topmost line

Reported by: raziel- Owned by: dreammaster

Game: Return to Ringworld

ScummVM 1.10.0git (Oct 7 2016 07:09:33)
Features compiled in: Vorbis FLAC MP3 RGB zLib MPEG2 Theora AAC FreeType2 JPEG PNG cloud (servers, local)

Playing the intro with the flying "Tsunami" logo only draws the topmost line.
The in-game menu (ESC) is correctly drawn, but as you can see in the screenshot the intro itself is not.

It returns to normal when the intro switches to the speech "It is a time of peace..."

This is a regression, 1.8.1 doesn't have this glitch.

Ringworld 2: Return to Ringworld (CD/DOS/English)

I was going to replay Return to Ringworld with ScummVM 1.9 but it's no longer playable with this bug. It doesn't only happen with the intro. At first I thought it was a problem with Windows 10 but this is also an issue with Windows 7.

I can reproduce this too.

This was broken by the move to ManagedSurface in 077250acfb09afb67a445fad30aef6af2e2af014. (Apparently Ringworld 2 was never tested?)

At least AnimationPlayer::drawFrame is broken. Maybe more.

Thanks to wjp's assistance, I determined the problem, and fixed in both master and the 1.9 branch
