Description
I ran the links and press sections of the website through the online W3 link checker ( http://validator.w3.org/checklink ), fixed some links, removed a few dead press links.

btw, why the link checker complains about "forbidden" for the slashdot links is beyond me, so I left them in (they worked for me).

However I don't think we would want to remove press links completely from the section just because they are broken. I'd either just mark them as "link broken", or keep them with the link removed.
After all, press.php is meant to be kind of a list of any kind of press cover we got, not just the online one :-)

Indeed. For example, the 'Back to the Source' entry was
originally a print article and the link was simply
to the online version.
These could be replaced by scans, or an archive of the page
if one can be found. The Press page really needs a revamp
and to be made more complete, I may move it into the wiki
at some point to allow better organisation.
Thanks for the actual link fixes, I'll commit them shortly.
