SAM: screen scrolling doesn't redisplay subtitles

Description
When in the tunnel of love, in Sam & Max, if you look at the various scenes with subtitles enabled, the screen scrolling will cause whatever was being displayed to be lost, and not redisplayed after the scrolling is completed. In the real LEC samnmax, if there is subtitle text on-screen when the screen scrolls, it is erased during the scroll, and then reappears afterward as if it was 'said' again immediately after the scrolling.

The original game behaves exactly the same as ScummVM, I checked DOS and Windows versions. In the original Sam & Max it won't scroll until the currently displayed subtitles are removed. It will only display subtitles right after a scroll, if you look at an item while the screen is scrolling.
