Description

This is the project/glue code to compile scummvm using gcc. This code uses SDL and core audio.

Could you please talk to Mutle (the other mac guy) about this? I want to avoid having two 'official' Mac ports... it's just confusing and ugly :)

If it's possible to merge the functionality of both into one binary, that would be ideal.

of course Mac OS x and MacOS are essentially two fundamentally different systems. For Exult, we also have seperate MacOS and Mac OS X versions. Just FYI :-)

Benjamin, if you make your patches with "diff -u" they are much easier to read for humans I think (just my two cents of course). This will also allow the patch to be applied even if the file to be patched has been modified in the mean time (as happened now). Right now I can#t apply them, and in fact to me it looks as if the patch is incomplete - MidiDriver::MidiOutCoreAudio isn't closed.

Well, so I applied it manually. I notice that you never call MidiOutCoreAudio, but rather MidiOutQuicktime - uhm, was this patch ever tried in its current state? :-) no offense meant, I really look forward to this.

I have used the CoreAudio code Benjamin provided here (although it was slightly incomplete in the patch) to write a new-style Midi backend. Also, some other changes for building ScummVM from the command line on OS X should be in CVS soon. I think this will obsolete this patch.

To clarify: it will obsolete the diffs in this patch, not the project builder files, so I guess those will have to be updated, as ScummVM changes at a high pace :-)
