Description
How about adding folders and subfolders to the ScummVM GUI? The game list would be much shorter if the games could be sorted by game series or game company. The easiest way to switch folders would be the MS-DOS-style method with /. and /.. as top entries. This method is also used in may DVD players. Collapsing folders would be nicer, but it'll require a more advanced GUI.

Oh sorry, you're referring to the ScummVM game list, not the file browser

I'd really like to see this, especially now ScummVM has added support for engines like AGS and Z-Code. People could potentially have hundreds of games in their library, and the ability to group them would be a major enhancement.

We now have grouping by initial/series, etc.
Adding customizable folders would require extensive changes to the launcher and I don't think it's feasible.
Maybe a less invasive option would be a "favorite" per-game flag and the option to show the complete list or just the favorites... but that's another feature request, I guess.
This FR could be closed, I think.

Groupings are now solving this issue.
I'm not sure what you mean here... ScummVM already supports folders and subfolders, in fact all of the common file code supports this. Could you elaborate?
