Description
Since ScummVM only needs some of the original game files, it would be neat with an installer. The installer could ask you to specify the path, or insert the discs containing the game, and copy all necessary files to your hard drive. It could also rip all the CD tracks (if any) so you can play the games with minimal of knowledge. Some of the more complex titles, like the 7th guest, needs a lot of files, (but not all) from several directories and two discs.

When some game does not require all files from the original media, it still would not hurt if they are copied anyway. So this is not a necessity.
As of the installer, including ripping the tracks, this will be highly non-portable solution, and thus specific to some port. Effort of implementing it will be enormous, and is completely out of scope of the project.
