Your game version appears to be unknown. Please, report the following data to the ScummVM team along with name of the game you tried to add and its version/language/etc.:
Just purchased a Macintosh CD of Legend of Kyrandia. Packaging etc are in English but it looks like the disk includes French and German as well. None of these are adding.
Yes this is an original Westwood CD, not a hack of any kind.

I see .VRM files. Running this natively is possible but not easy so please let me know if I should.

I just added the md5sums to trunk. Please try the next daily build of ScummVM and tell me if it works fine or whether it crashes.

Last "daily" build was 10 days ago. Is there a way to request or trigger a build?

I'm afraid not, our Mac OS X snapshots are only built infrequently and I think vinterstum (the guy doing it) is on vacation currently.

Actually, we make daily builds now. Go and download the latest OS X Intel (or PPC, depending on your system) binary from <http://buildbot.scummvm.org/snapshots/trunk/>.

Since we have that report from "satz" on the patch tracker (https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2767489&group_id=37116&atid=418822) that Kyra1 Mac CD works, I'll close this one as 'fixed'.

Do you have any possibility to run this on a Mac and check if there is speech? (You could also check for *.VRM files.)
Also moving this to feature requests for now, since there's no Mac CD version supported currently.
