GUI: Game selection through pictures instead of text

Description
I use Scummvm for my kid which is not able to read texts yet. It could be interesting for such situations to have a user menu based on pictures instead (only the game select menu).

Closing this because we now moved this request to GSoC Ideas, thus sooner or later we will implement this feature.

This is a nice idea, we thought of this in the past. The base idea is good. It would have to be optional, to accomodate for low end devices and taste.
Also, care has to be taken with the artwork one uses, as e.g. cover art may still be under copyright. Ideally, ScummVM could use suitably named PNG/JPG files of the user's choice.
Alas, nobody is working on this right now, so don't hold your breath :)
