Description
I know the inventory issue has been known forever, but I was just surprised to see that apparently no one requested that it be fixed since it's a complete showstopper and those are pretty rare. Hoping to inspire someone...

I'm assuming that message is generated automatically as this is a known problem, but here goes. This is an issue with all past and present versions of SCUMMVM on all platforms with the Macintosh disk version of Indy3EGA. The inventory items simply don't show up and this makes the game unplayable. It's described on the compatibility page.

The inventory works in the Macintosh version of Indy3 now, try the next ScummVM snapshot.
