Description
I seem to recall that in the Mac versions of MI2 and Indy4, LucasArts included a specific smoothing algorithm, epx, which you could you turn off to see how bad the graphics looked in the original PC version :o)
Aaron Giles claims it was a simple 2x scaler with some guessing algorithm. Does anyone know how to reimplement it? It looked cool and not quite like any of the current scalers IMHO - but then again it's been a long time since I played MI2 on my dusty Macintosh LCII.
I found this link that explains part of it :

From what I recall, the algorythm is basically the same as our AdvMame2X scaler.
Won't do, use one of the many choices already there :)
