SHERLOCK: Sound of Diogenes fire spills over to the next scene

In the Rose Tattoo intro, the sound of the Diogenes fire doesn't stop until just after the next scene has begun. This doesn't happen in DOSBox. I don't know if it's a timing thing (load times etc. are likely to be longer in DOSBox), or if any running sound effects are supposed to be stopped between scenes.
