Description

Scummvm version: ScummVM 1.8.0git (Jan 16 2015 10:31:43) Features compiled in: TAINTED Vorbis FLAC MP3 ALSA SEQ TiMidity RGB zLib MPEG2 Theora AAC FreeType2 JPEG PNG Optimised/Release build.

Bug details: The inset videos for the skeletal hands on either side of the lock, whilst initially drawn in the correct place, get out of alignment with the rest of the screen once each side is first clicked on, and stay that way until the puzzle is solved or reset by backing away.

GOG version of Zork Nemesis. Installed under wine, subtitles patch applied, then all required files copied into /usr/share/scummvm/nemesis

Debian Wheezy 7.8, Kernel 3.2.0-4-amd64 (#1 SMP Debian 3.2.65-1), gcc version 4.7 (x86_64-linux-gnu)

Steps to reproduce: Start game and play as normal until the earth pavilion door puzzle. Click on any knuckle on either hand to open or close it.

I'm not familiar enough to know for sure what the earth pavilion door is, but I assume it's the same hands I just posted images of to bug #6781 ("ZVISION: Animation glitch (position? scaling?) in Nemesis laboratory") as an additional example of scaling gone wrong?

Fixed in commit 1adcb23d71.

The fix will be available in the next daily version of ScummVM.

In the current built (3.2.2015), the right-hand video now fits the background seamlessly, but the left one still shifts downwards slightly.

That happens for me if I play the original game in DOSBox as well. I imagine it shouldn't be that hard to tweak the position slightly, though.
