Curse of Monkey Island (tried with Windows/English) crashes ScummVM on an assertion failure: ../../src-master/src/engines/scumm/imuse_digi/dimuse_bndmgr.cpp, line 191 Expression: _numFiles
How to reproduce: Start chapter 1 after watching or skipping the opening cutscenes. ScummVM crashes a few seconds in.
Version used: ScummVM 1.8.0git2607-g3f4c924 (Jan 12 2015 04:24:23), Windows 64-bit

Okay, since I compressed the files using mp3, I'll recopy the files over as it definitely seems like it's an issue on my end after trying a 32-bit version of ScummVM I had lying around from 2012 and having that fail in the same way.

Closing as outdated since this looks like it was never reproduced so probably a resource copying error.
I can't reproduce this on 32-bit Linux. Assuming it's not a 64-bit issue, sometimes inexplicable crashes are caused by data files being inexplicably corrupted and/or truncated. If that's the case here, it's probably musdisk1.bun and/or voxdisk1.bun. You could try re-copying them from your CD, just to rule out that.
(With my English version, musdisk1.bun is 176,849,464 bytes and voxdisk1.bun is 150,287,970 bytes.)
