In any case, this report is incomplete. You doN't state which version of ScummVM, what version of OS X, which games you are trying, and which sound drivers you have selected. If it is indeed Zak256 you are trying, well, we don't support audio in that yet, I think.

Sorry for being incomplete, you must hate that!
It's the latest version of ScummVM 0.3.0b for MacOS X, on 10.2.3. I used the supplied .app file to launch the game rather than using the cmd line, so I gues whichever sound drivers are default.
the sound works but the music doesn't. If it's not supported already that's cool, wondered if it ws just me.
Sorry if I've wasted anyones time.

if you are indeed using zak256 as the selected group would indicate be aware that cd audio doesn't work under osx due to it not being implemented in SDL. You should convert the cd tracks to 22khz ogg vorbis or mp3 files as explained in the readme
