ScummVM 1.7.0git (Apr 30 2014 22:56:48) Features compiled in: Vorbis FLAC MP3 RGB zLib MPEG2 Theora AAC FreeType2 JPEG PNG 8.Development:Coding/Ports/scummvm> gcc --version
Also the developer website speaks about a 1.3 version, there are only two versions available for download. 1.1 (which seems to be the most common) 1.2 (which seems to be the Desura-only release) 1.3 (which doesn't seem to be released...yet?)

This is written to scummvm.ini right now The_Kite (unknown version) (Windows) and probably should look like this The Kite (v1.1/Windows/English)

I can't change the item title, so i'll add the information as a comment.
This is of course the english version, so there need to be a "e" behind all of the versions informations to be able to distinguish between the different version out there.
