TOON: Mouse isn't deactivated after being picked up

Description
If you pick up the mouse in the tavern, while the mouse in the tavern disappears after you've put it into your inventory, the hotspot is still there, and you can still try picking it up again (and it still runs around the tavern trying to escape from you).
This is the English release, savegame attached.

I can't replicate this with my Virgin White Label CD English Release. I have attached savegames before and after trapping the mouse for reference.
fuzzie/thetomaso: Can you indicate which game version you are using and if the attached savegames allow you to replicate the issue?

I should point out that SylvainTV can't replicate this either, so can't investigate the cause and fix... :/
The attached savegame (toon_mouse.sav) does load for him, but seems a bit messed up.. That corruption may be the cause.

Occurred to me with 1.7, but all that happened was the voice line and Blanc reaching down. No mouse animation. The hotspot did disappear.
Confirmed.
