Scumm VM browser cannot find game

Description
On MacOS X, the ScummVM front end cannot detect the Simon 1 game on CD.
It successfully detects Full Throttle, Monkey Island 1 & 2, and DOTT.
This is 0.3.0b, the MacOS X binary version supplied.
I've attached the directory listings of the CD.
The game version is for Windows 95 and DOS.

You need to remove the trailing dots (.) from the filenames for it to work

Well on the long run it would still be nice if we could support these games, too, as it apparently is a problem with a certain version of Simon, isn't it?

This bug cannot be solved as you suggest. This is a CD, read only, and therefore files cannot be renamed.
It should be trivial to add one more check to the game location logic, one the order of "try and match with . appended to the end".
This change was already made in simon.cpp to get the game to play.
