Description

ScummVM version: 1.5.0 Bug details: The background colour of characters portrait is supposed to change depending on how good you are playing (Spiritual Barometer). Spiritual Barometer doesn't change under ScummVM, the exact same game works perfectly under DOS. Language of game: Spanish Version of game: CD Platform and Compiler: WIN32

I've also experienced it with ScummVM 1.4.0, under Linux. The bug doesn't affect to the English version of the game.

depaz: Thank you for the bug report.

To be clear, does this happen from a clean "new game" start of IHNM on ScummVM v1.5.0, or only when you load a savegame?

Also, to ensure that we can exactly identify this version, could you please attach a text file to this bug containing a file listing of your Spanish IHNM datafiles along with file md5sums. The output of a tool such as http://md5summer.org/ would be optimal.

It does happen from a clean "new game" start of IHNM.

And about the English version: I'm aware that directly starting the game from a saved game with an already green spiritual barometer, loads the game correctly, but displays a black background portrait, instead of green.

I've attached a text file with the md5sums

Please, attach a savegame just before performing an action that changes the spiritual barometer

I think the fastest way to replicate from a new game would be in Benny's episode, by getting the fruit from the tree and giving it to the child...

Though this bug may only affect a single case, so this really needs the original submitter to provide a savegame at the location that they have observed the problem.
