Description
The README says: timidity -iAqqq -B2,8 -Os1S -s 44100 &
At least on my machine that just gives garbled, heavily distorted output...
I would suggest removing "-B2,8" (the default value, whatever it is, works fine for me) or at least adding a note that one might have to experiment with that value to get good results.

Not a thing, I don't use timidity - always adlib and adlib-midi emulation
