Also, this doesn't look to be the CD version of the game - plus, as far as I know, only the English version was released as a CD. Where did you get this?

I mean the text in game. That version was released in spain by Erbe software. I bought on ebay.

This isn't the CD version of the game, because of the selector vocabulary warning it throws (the selector vocabulary was absent only in the floppy version). Also, the Spanish floppy version works fine in ScummVM. Thus, this seems to be some sort of pirated copy, so I'm closing this one as "won't fix"

I fixed this bug in 2022: 19dd711b79b867f0d8822f362e5d1908f29ea88a
This bug report was legitimate. The Spanish CD release is legitimate, it just does not contain speech. There is no Spanish speech for LB2. The CD contains the Spanish floppy version with a few inconsequential resource changes. Sierra put this game on a CD in 1994, it's that simple.
The problem was that we set ADGF_CD on the detection entry, but the only reason we use that flag in SCI is to handle speech. No ScummVM developer had this CD in 2011, so this report of a CD without speech sounded suspicious, but it was true.
What? What do you mean no text? Did you change the in game speech/text settings?
