Description
When patching the working CD v1.0 with v1.2 from http://www.spacequest.net/sq4/patches/ then it sometimes won't launch, displaying: {"resource.000", 0, "231fd8421e1f211e1bcf9d7b8b6408e7", 9525849}, {"resource.map", 0, "38287a646458a1dabded55d094407793", 7139},
When it does launch, it got crashed after seeing the slime in the sewer (attached).
Note that v1.2 is supposed to have been offered by Sierra itself. It fixes important bugs like the inability to have text and speech at the same time.

This is incorrect. The so called "patch 1.2" was never released by Sierra, but by a fan, NewRisingSun. He used filed straight from the CD version, hacked game scripts to have simultaneous speech and text and removed the game's copy protection. We don't want to support an effort which removes copy protection and modifies game scripts and data in such a way, as this is a completely new game, not a mere patch. The reason why it isn't working is because NewRisingSun removed compression from the resource files, thus our version detection code fails (no official Sierra game had uncompressed resources). Thus, this unofficial patch will not be supported atm. Closing as "won't fix"
