TEEN: Cannot use rake on grass

Description
To get the nut out of the grass in the forest, I need to use the rake. However nothing happens when I try that and the console states: "WARNING: invalid callback 862c called!"

No, I didn't. Only after reading the walkthrough I discovered that I was supposed to do that. (It does work then of course)

It seems I misread the walkthrough. I needed to fix the rake with a ribbon first. Still, there should have been some feedback.
