There are two basic problems 1\) Whenever a non-FMV animation is played in game, there is a seemingly random chance of it being played at super speed. This can happen for seemingly any animation in the game, and there doesn't seem to be any way to tell when it is going to happen. If you use ESC \(on Windows at least\) to try to skip certain FMV animations, the animation will usually not skip but rather just leave a little ""afterimage"" of the animation which will soon vanish.
