Monkey island 3 reports Out of memory while allocating 1966160

Apparantly reverting to version 0.83 avoids this issue.

I have verified that this is indeed a low memory condition, so your mileage may vary with memory-hungry games: from not at all to crashes at weird points.

The size of the scummvm executable has expanded in the releases between 0.8.0 and now.

This can only be dealt with effectively by using a dynamic plugin system for the engines. This is one of my immediate goals for the backend. Closing this for now.
