Description
Hi,
After trying to play DOT again as the original version it just crashed under Win98 so I tried scumm which actually worked great. I became enthusiastic about the scumm engine and tried my old simon the sorcerer 1. However that just didn't work the SDL crashes, I tried to give my cdrom (Z:) as path parameter as well as copying everything to D:\simon and give that as path. Neither of it works. Since simon the sorcerer is on the list of games that works 95% is there anyone who have a clue. I have the original CD ROM in my Z drive under Win98/MS-DOS box. Also tried the same using linux on the same machine but it said it couldn't load GamePC or an associated file.
D:\SIMON>scummvm -pz:\ simon1dos Detected game 'Simon the Sorcerer 1 for DOS', version 99.99.99 Fatal signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed)
D:\SIMON>
Any help greatly appreciated.

I got the error with version
D:\Updates\SCUMM>scummvm -v ScummVM 0.2.0 Release Built on May 14 2002 17:34:14
After this I downloaded the latest snapshot and compiled it with VC++. Now if I say to load simon1win instead of simon1dos the game starts and runs only the music is missing.

Yes, except for the music of course (since this really IS a dos version).
