Description
O.S. Windows XP Sp2 Italian Version Translated from English 12.27.2006 Daily Building of ScummVm.
I can't finish this game... i'm in rouen.. i have liberated the witch but in the home of juliette in can't pick up the "bottle of scent" on the mobile.. I can select "pick up" from menù but it doesn't succeed nothing.
Moreover creed then of being of forehead to a bug of the game: I'm on Le Havre... i alredy repair the boat and overpass the see... now i want to open the gate. For open it i need to make a key... first i use my knife with a candle, now use the dirty knife in the kay hole... after this use my lime on dirty knife for make the key :) The problems it's here... before arriving here I had already used the knife with candle then subsequently I have used the knife for another pass of game, now in my inventary i have a cleaned up knife but i can't have a candle :( It's a Bug of game ??

In this savegame it's here in home of juliette where i can't take the bottle of porfume....anybody try to find a candle for using on the knife for make a key for grate in Le Havre. File Added: touche.9

Looks like another scripting bug. I think you are supposed to get that bottle when Juliette is still in the room (and read her a poem).
I'll see if I can add a workaround.

ok....Script bug.. it's a bug in the code of game ?? Look Like a famose bug in cathedral of rouen ? With This SaveGame... test also to go to open gate on "le havre".... I have explained all why it is not succeeded...

For another Script Bug i can upload this savegame: In this savegame i have the "Wax Knife"...... try to go at rouen... it approaches you the wagon and now use the knife with rope of wagon. Caught up the balcony of juliette, Henry go to recover the knife...when you resume it from its inventory the wax disappears. From this moment i can't use the Wax Knife for open gate on Le Havre... File Added: touche.4

Please, use separate bugreport for each bug. In this case just copy that save game and the bug description to the new report.

After having a closer look at your first problem, the script doesn't allow to take the bottle if Juliette is not in her room. I can add a workaround in the engine but I am afraid doing so may screw up the logic later on in the game.
The second issue is also a scripting bug (waxy knife/dagger). I added a workaround in SVN (the waxy knife should now be correctly put back in the inventory). Please test.

I have installed the Daily Build of 01-01-2007.... i have try to load the savegame "Touche.4", return to Rouen and try to use the Waxy Knife of rope..... not working. Henry goes to recover the knife... after exit of juliette open i try to open inventory of henry but the knife it's cleaned...... because ? i can add another savegame when i stay in rouen whit waxy knife before use this on rope...

As I did the change a few hours ago, the build of 01/01/2007 doesn't "include" the workaround. I suppose you'll have to wait that a more recent win32 build gets uploaded for testing.

Ohhhhhhhhh YEAH!! WORKING.. now i go to play game start from savegame posted here. In the room of juliette i can't again pick up the bottle, i can to pick up this after i have read to juliette the pome...

Hey Cix.. i have finish the game.... i pick up the bootle in the room of juliette after i have read to here the poetry... if you can to add a workaround to pickup the bottle also after that juliette it is not in the room we can say that the game is completabile to 100% !!! Also I have tested that the famous bug to the cathedral of rouen is resolved.. in the cathedral i have watch the scene with cardinal, before use the rope on torch i exit to cathedral and reenter.... i can use correctly the rope on torch in order to exchange the covers of the tombs. GOOD WORK BOYS :)
