Description
encode_dxa crashes on MacOSX (PPC) here's gdb backtrace:
#0 0x90131640 in memcmp () #1 0x00003364 in png_set_tRNS () #2 0x00003578 in png_set_sPLT () #3 0x0000370c in png_set_unknown_chunks () #4 0x00003acc in png_get_image_width () #5 0x00004568 in png_get_sCAL () #6 0x00001c70 in png_destroy_info_struct () #7 0x00001974 in png_free_data ()
I have png 1.2.12 installed, which works with other programs. Could it be an endianess issue? Please, investigate.

More specifically, which version of encode_dxa is it? One of the precompiled binaries, or did you compile it yourself?

And how did you install libpng ?
How exactly can one reproduce your crash? What did you try to encode?
