#2480 closed defect (invalid)
ScummVM-window had f*d up grphics.

Description
When attempting to start ScummVM (0.8.1) for the first time all i get is a dos-window (first saying that it is creating a config file, then empty) and a widow with no real graphics.

Something like that, I believe, has come up on the ScummVM forums a couple of times. I started writing a proposal for an addition to the FAQ: http://forums.scummvm.org/viewtopic.php?t=672
But since I do not run Windows myself - at the moment, I do not even have access to any computer running Windows - I was hoping for someone else to finish it.
