MONKEY2 FMTOWNS iMuse Bug

Reported by: SF/joachimeberhard Owned by: sev-
Priority: normal Component: Engine: SCUMM
Keywords: Cc:
Game: Monkey Island 2

Description

Dear ScummVM Team!

In my attempt to complete the game with the current
CVS, I have encountered the following non-critical music
bug so far.

There are 2 different musics playing at once in the
attached savegame, which sounds somewhat annoying.
The second music follows you to every location
overlapping with the locations music on every island.

The music only returns to normal, when visiting the
guard kiosk on booty island.

I haven't been able to reproduce the location or event
that caused the bug to occur initially. But I first
recognized it around the marketplace when enering
stans used coffins after coming to booty, playing around
a bit, and have visited some locations for the first time.

I know that this is somewhat vague, but at least you
can reproduce the outcome with the attached savegame.

This is not critical, and at least I have a workaround for
this behaviour.

Best regards

Joachim Eberhard

Sounds like the same problem as bug #884000.

Hi! You are right, after browsing endlessly thru the bug-
tracker i found out that this is a duplicate.

However, at least we have a workaround now (walking to the
guards kiosk is the only way i found to stop it.)

However, I encountered 2 more iMuse Bugs in FMTOWNS
version.

Shall I file them seperately?
That is, if i don't MANAGE to find a duplicate.

SF Bugtrackers are a bit harsh to handel, you know ;-)

Best regards

Joachim

One bug per bug report is customary, yes.
