Sound effects play all wrong

In the Monte Carlo car chase, for example, when you hit a car, all the available varations for the car crash sound effect play at once.

The sam and max bug is due to the fact we don't know how to implement the _saveSound flag.
I'm closing this bug as it's quite old and I can't replicate it. If the problem persists in the CURRENT cvs, then please open a new bug - with an attached save game!

In Sam & Max, CD-Talkie, you get random sound effects entering certain places:
Sound of car falling to ground everytime you enter the outside room for the ball of twine
Sound of being hit everytime you enter the outside room for Bumpusville
